2005: Ashley Witten had a spectacular freshman season for CSUB…played in all 20 matches for the Roadrunners including 19 starts…recorded a 1.49 goals against average…that ranks No. 9 all-time in CSUB history for a single season…also ranks No. 6 in a season at CSUB for shutouts with four, second all-time at CSUB with her 1,751 minutes played in a season and fourth with 94 saves in a season…earned clean sheets in two of the final three matches of the season, including the season-ending win over NCAA Division II Far West Regional participant Cal State Dominguez Hills…held 11 of 20 opponents to one goal or less…more impressively, just two of CSUB’s final seven opponents scored more than one goal against Witten.

LIBERTY HS: Witten played two years of varsity soccer at Liberty HS…named team MVP her senior season…helped Patriots to a pair of league titles as a junior and senior.

PERSONAL: Witten has not chosen a major…parents are Bob and Diane Witten.
