Biography
2008: Sarina Coutin found her way into the CSUB starting lineup 10 times while appearing in all 19 CSUB contests as a true freshman...a true forward in high school, Coutin was used mostly in the midfield late in the season...played 947 minutes...scored the first goal of the year with a strike against Idaho (8/22/08)...found the back of the net in a win over Eastern Washington (9/5/08)...finished fifth on the team in points with four.
Hart HS: Coutin was a two?time Foothill League MVP and was named all?league four times while attending Hart HS...member of three league championship teams...reached semifinals of CIF twice and quarter finals twice...finished with a Santa Clarita Valley prep record with 104 career prep goals...scored 20+ goals all four seasons...tied a Hart HS school record with five goals in one game and set a new record by scoring a goal in 12 consecutive games and tallying 38 goals in one season...had her #5 jersey retired...All?CIF Southern Section Division II first team in 2007 and third team selection in 2006...Los Angeles Daily News All?Area first team in 2006 and 2007... All?Santa Clarita Valley Player of the Year in 2006 and 2008...played club soccer for the West Valley Samba and the Valley United.
Personal: Coutin will be a kinesiology major at CSUB...interests include going to the beach and working out at the gym.
