2005: Sean Jarvis wasted no time becoming a regular on the pitch for CSUB with a stellar freshman campaign…opened his collegiate career with 18 appearances and 15 starts out of a possible 20 matches…his 1,309 minutes played were eighth best among field players and third among all freshmen on the squad…was part of a defense that allowed just 24 goals in 20 matches…earned an immediate spot in the starting lineup in the first match of the season in CSUB’s 3-2 victory over The Master’s College (08/27/05).

DAMIEN HS: Jarvis played three years of varsity soccer at Damien HS…was a second-team All-CIF Southern Section Division I selection and a first-team All–Sierra League pick as a senior…helped the Spartans to back-to-back Sierra League titles and a pair of berths in the CIF Southern Section Division I playoffs…also received coaches award and honored as an Inland Valley all-star.

PERSONAL: Major is criminal justice at CSUB… parents are Roy and Francie Jarvis.

COACH TOBIN SAYS: “Has been viewed as a cross between Maradona and Beckham. He has Maradona’s right foot and Beckham’s left.”
