Biography
2005: Carli Godard put together an impressive freshman season for the Roadrunners…played in 19 matches and started 15…her 1,150 minutes played were the third most by freshmen field players in 2005…scored one goal, but it was an important one…scored the match’s lone goal on the road at Cal State San Bernardino (10/24/05) in CSUB’s 1-0 win… caught fire in the final five matches of the season, not only scoring her one goal, but also assisting on two goals…CSUB won all three matches that Godard either scored a goal or recorded an assist.
ROSEBURG HS: Godard was a four-year letterwinner for the Indians…was a first-team all-state player as a senior in 2004, becoming the first player in school history to receive such an honor…scored 13 goals and had eight assists as a senior…netted a pair of goals in a 2-0 win over Klamath to clinch the school’s first playoff appearance since 1999…named the Southern Oregon Conference Player of the Year in 2004… earned first-team All-SOC honors in 2003 and 2004 and was a second-team selection in 2001 and 2002…named Roseburg High’s team MVP in her final two seasons.
PERSONAL: Godard has not declared a major…enjoys camping, fishing and hiking in her spare time…parents are Ken and Theresa Godard.
