2006: Dwuan Rice stepped his game up in his second collegiate campaign, earning first team All–CCAA honors…a major contributor on both ends, finishing fourth in the conference in both assists (4.5 apg) and steals (1.6 spg)…also cracked the top 20 in scoring, placing 19th at 11.9 ppg…reached double figures in 20 of 28 games, including a season–high 24 in a win at then nationally–ranked Grand Canyon (12–13–05)…career–high 11 assists in season–opening win vs. CS East Bay (11–26–05)…had 15 multi–steal games, including eight games of three or more.

2005: Rice did more than get his feet wet in his first collegiate season at CSUB…became one of the team’s go–to players and earned second team All–CCAA honors after averaging 10.3 points and 3.3 assists per game…became the first Roadrunner in five seasons to score as many as 33 points in a game, a trick he turned at CS Dominguez Hills (2–12–05)…led team in scoring with 14 points in his first collegiate game vs. CS Hayward (11–27–04)…it was one of seven times he led CSUB…scored in double figures 12 times…led team in assists eight times, matching his season high of seven twice…finished No. 6 in the CCAA in assists and No. 3 in both 3–pt FG and FT percentage.

Los Angeles CC: Rice returned to the hardwood for CSUB after sitting out the 2004 season…led the Cubs to a 36–2 record and the California state title…averaged 10 points and four assists per game.

High School: Rice was a highly–touted recruit coming out of Pasadena High School in 2002…coaches Tim Tucker and Tony Brooks called him the best guard to come out of Pasadena in 25 years…led PHS to a 29–6 record in the CIF State Division II finals in 2002…averaged 16 points and seven rebounds per game…was San Gabriel Valley co–MVP and a first team All–Pacific League selection …named to three all–tournament teams as a senior.

Personal: Rice is majoring in criminal justice at CSUB…includes shopping for shoes among his leisure time activities.
