Cerritos College: After playing his freshman season for Gary Cain’s highly–respected Cerritos College program, Brandon Nevens signed with the Roadrunners late in the summer of 2006…earned second team All–South Coast Conference honors after leading the Falcons to 20 wins and the SCC South Division title…averaged 10.0 points and 2.7 rebounds per game…led Cerritos with 22 points and seven boards in their title–clinching win over L.A. Harbor College…played in all 34 games and started 15…scored in double figures 17 times, including five of his final six games…led Cerritos by shooting 81 percent (83–of–103) from the line. High School: Nevens was a two–time first team All–Moore League selection at Lakewood.

High School: averaged 15.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and five assists per game as a senior…helped lead the Lancers to the 2005 Moore League title and advance to the CIF Southern Section Div. IA semifinals…earned the Leon Young Award as the team’s best free throw shooter…earned the Best Teammate Award and Scholastic Award for two consecutive seasons.

Personal: Nevens is a business administration major with an emphasis in sports management.
