Biography
2006: Randall Harding stepped into the Roadrunner lineup and made an immediate impact while starting 27 games in his first season…led off with a bang, pouring in a season–high 24 points in the season–opener vs. CS East Bay (11–26–05)…came back two games later to score 22 in a win over CCAA rival CS San Bernardino (12–3–05)…reached double figures 11 times…earned CCAA Player of the Week honors for Nov. 27…was the top shot–blocking guard in the CCAA, finishing 12th with 19 rejections…had five blocks in the win over CS East Bay…also was a consistent rebounder, matching his season high with eight boards on three occasions.
Contra Costa CC: When the Roadrunners went looking for offensive firepower last season, they didn’t have to look much further than high–scoring Harding…he joined the Roadrunner program after leading the Bay Valley League and finishing second in California in scoring by averaging 23.7 points per game in 2005…he also ranked among the league leaders in assists (4.1 apg), rebounds (5.6 rpg) and steals (1.4 spg)…had a 44–point game as a sophomore, a performance that ranked No. 3 in the state…was a two–time All–BVC first team selection.
High School: Harding played three seasons of varsity ball at Carl Albert High School in Midwest City, Okla.…averaged 15 points and six rebounds per game while earning all–conference and all–area recognition.
Personal: Harding is majoring in business administration with an emphasis in sports management at Cal State Bakersfield…career goal is to be a sports agent…has a one–year–old daughter named Randi…is a native of Oklahoma City.
