Biography

2022: Played 48 games, starting 47, posting .292 batting average, while placing in the top-5 for most of CSUB’s offensive statistical categories, with .834 OPS, 32 runs, 49 hits, 13 doubles, 3 homers, 20 RBI, 22 walks, and .458 SLG…In series sweep of UC Riverside, went 6-for-8 with five walks, a triple, a home run, and scored five runs and four RBI, being named Big West Player of the Week in the process…Hit 2-for-4 with a double and a run on opening day against Oakland…In series against UC Davis, went 5-for-10 with five runs and four RBI…In second-to-last series of season, against UC Irvine, had a 4-for-6 game with a double, run, and RBI…One of just four players in CSUB history to have a two-triple game…Earned Academic All-Big West honors. 

2021: Started 27 games and made 30 appearances in the middle infield...Hit .214 with five doubles and a .302 on-base percentage...Drove in eight runs and scored 15 times...13 bases on balls...1-for-4 with a pair of RBI in a Mar. 6 win over Pacific...6-for-17 with a double, an RBI and four runs scored in series with UC Riverside...Nine game hitting streak from Apr. 10 to Apr. 24...Five multi-hit outings...Stole four bases in six attempts...Played summer ball for the Santa Barbara Foresters, hitting .270 with a .459 on-base percentage and eight stolen bases...Led Foresters to Golden State Collegiate League Championship. 

2020: Did not compete during COVID shortened season. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Junipero Serra High School in Gardena, Calif...Coached by Martel London...Ranked as the #202 overall prospect in his class by Perfect Game and #251 by Baseball America...Perfect Game's #6 shortstop in California and #40 nationally...Three-time Perfect Game Pre-Season All-American candidate...Earned First-Team All-Western League honors three times and was Second-Team All-League as a freshman...Twice earned All-City honors...In 2017 led City CIF in home runs and in 2018 was named Western League Pitcher of the Year...2019 Perfect Game All-Region selection and CalHi All-State nominee.
