Biography

2023 (GRADUATE): Wrapped up college career making 14 total appearances with two starts, collecting a co-leading two saves in the process...Posted a 6.98 ERA through 29.2 innings...Struck out 25 batters and held opponents to a 1.85 WHIP...Moved up the list for CSUB Division I career pitching appearances, finishing his career with 68 games on the mound, good for 5th all-time...Also placed 5th in CSUB history for career strikeouts with 146.

2022 (SENIOR): Appeared in three games with two starts, pitching 7.1 innings while tallying seven strikeouts and a 3.68 ERA…In the game against Cal Baptist, pitched in five innings and had five strikeouts…Moved into 10th all-time for CSUB appearances (54 games).

2021 (JUNIOR): Made two starts and nine appearances, totaling 22.2 IP and striking out 17 with a 4.76 ERA...Earned the win with an inning of relief in series finale with UC Riverside...Threw 4.0 innings of one hit relief with two strike outs in win over UC Davis on Apr. 9...Allowed one hit and no runs in 3.0 IP against Cal Poly on May 8...Played summer ball with the Mankato Moondogs of the Northwoods League.

2020 (WAIVER): Started a team-high four games in four appearances, sporting a 4.12 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP across 19.2 innings of work...Held opposing hitters to just a .237 batting average against, while striking out 19 and walking just three...Opened the year with 12.0 consecutive scoreless innings pitched...Clinched a series win against Washington State with 5.0 scoreless innings of two-hit ball on Feb. 16...Tossed 6.0 scoreless innings to defeat San Francisco on Feb. 23, while striking out a career high eight opponents...Struck out seven in 4.2 innings versus Holy Cross on Mar. 2...Spent the summer playing ball in Florida with the Bradenton Juice. 

2019 (SOPHOMORE): Made two starts and appeared 18 times out of the bullpen...finished the season 2-6 with a 5.93 ERA...pitched 41 innings...picked up a save against Fairleigh Dickinson on March 8 after striking out four in three shutout innings...threw a season-best five innings and struck out four against Utah Valley on April 26...had five straight outings from February 22 at San Francisco to March 8 against Fairleigh Dickinson in which he did not allow an earned run.

2018 (FRESHMAN): Tied for team lead with 10 starts and was third on the team with 18 appearances...second on the team with a 4.39 ERA...led team with a .258 batting average against, a mark that ties for eighth in single-season CSUB history...made first career start against UC Davis on February 18 and picked up first victory...made season-long appearance at Portland on March 2, tossing 7.1 innings and striking out a season-best seven batters...tossed seven shutout innings and earned the victory against Northern Colorado in the WAC Tournament on May 24...earned victory in relief against Grand Canyon on May 5 after throwing three shutout innings.

PERSONAL: Hopes to continue playing baseball or pursue a career in teaching and coaching after CSUB.
