Biography

2021: Hit .278 with a .358 on-base percentage and a .375 slugging-percentage, while starting 41 games in the outfield...Doubled five times and belted three home runs, driving in 22 and scoring 23...Walked 16 times and stole six bases in 10 attempts. 

2020: Started all 14 games in RF...Hit .304 with a .431 on-base percentage and a team-high 14 runs scored...Was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a double in a win over Washington State on Feb. 16...Finished 2-for-3 with a two runs and an RBI against Holy Cross on Feb. 29...Was 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI in series opener with Santa Clara on Mar. 6...Scored multiple runs on five occasions and recorded multiple hits four times...Stole three bases in four attempts...Led team with nine bases on balls...Academic All-WAC...Played summer ball with the Pierre Trappers of the Expedition League, hitting .284 with 10 doubles and, a league high, six home runs to earn All-League First-Team honors. 

2019: Made 21 starts and appeared in 31 games in the outfield...hit .169 for the season with a .234 on-base percentage and a .293 on-base percentage...started the season-opener in right field against Pepperdine in right field...had first career hit against Ball State on February 16...hit first career home run, a grand slam, against Fairleigh Dickinson on March 10...had only multi-hit game of the season against Fairleigh Dickinson on March 11...walked three times against Fairleigh Dickinson on March 9.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Attended Scottsdale Community College...Academic All-Conference selection...the Fighting Artichokes won the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference and finished third in the nation at the NJCAA Division II level...coached by Alex Cherney...hit .308 with a .476 slugging percentage and a .398 on-base percentage during his sophomore season...produced 17 doubles and hit five home runs.  

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Saguaro HS in Scottsdale, Ariz...coached by Joe Muecke...also competed on the swimming team.  

PERSONAL: Born on September 9, 1997 in Scottsdale, Ariz...son of Mike and Karen Grossman...Economics major with a minor in Marketing...Plans to pursue a career in pharmaceutical sales after CSUB.
