Biography

2022: Appeared in career-high 12 games, all in relief, over 20.1 innings…Posted a 3.98 ERA and held opposing batters to just .257, third best on the team…Finished CSUB career with 9th most appearances in school history (58 games)…Against Pac12’s Utah, pitched 3.0 innings with four strikeouts…Recorded a save against UC Davis Apr. 9, closing the game with 1.0 inning pitched and two strikeouts…Earned Academic All-Big West honors.

2021: Pitched 9.2 innings across eight appearances in relief, with a 4.66 ERA and seven strikeouts...Threw a season-high 4.1 IP, whiffing three and allowing just a single earned run in a loss to UC Davis...Allowed just one hit and zero earned runs over his final four outings and 2.1 IP. 

2020: Made four appearances out of the bullpen, tossing 4.1 innings with a 12.46 ERA and six strikeouts. 

2019: Made 17 relief appearances on the season...1-1 on the season with a 6.75 ERA...threw 25.1 innings...earned first career victory against Utah Valley on April 27 after throwing three innings, striking out three and allowing one run...struck out a career-high five batters in a career-best 5.2 innings at Fresno State and retired the first three batters he faced.

2018: Made two starts and 16 relief appearances...0-1 on the season with a 6.83 ERA...threw 29 innings...made career debut in season-opener against UC Davis on February 16...made first career start against Cal Poly on April 10...tossed a career-long five innings and struck out a career-high three batters versus Loyola Marymount on May 8...tossed 3.1 scoreless innings at UC Santa Barbara on May 15. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Warren HS in Downey, Calif. where he appeared as both a pitcher and played third base for the Bears. 

PERSONAL: Born on February 20, 1999...Enjoys working out in his time off...Criminal Justice major with plans to pursue a career in firefighting...Interned with Beimel Elite Athletics in the summer of 2021.
