Biography

2018 (R-SENIOR): CSUB's Friday starter in WAC play...produced a 5-4 record with a 4.59 ERA in 10 starts and 13 appearances...led team in wins...third on the team in ERA...second on the team in innings pitched...made first appearance on the mound in over 1,000 days against CSUN on February 27...tossed three scoreless and had five strikeouts in upset of No. 23 UNLV...took no-hitter into the eighth inning in first WAC start...tossed season-long 8.1 innings on April 20 in victory over Sacramento State...pitched complete game against Chicago State on May 17...set career highs in wins (5), ERA (4.59), starts (10), innings pitched (64.2) and batting average against (.260)...finished career tied for 10th on CSUB's all-time list with 44 appearances.

2017 (R-JUNIOR): Did not compete due to continued rehabilitation from Tommy John Surgery on his pitching arm.

2016 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a medical redshirt at CSU Bakersfield.

2015 (SOPHOMORE): Tied for third on the team in appearances with 16...made two starts...posted a 2-3 record and a 5.62 ERA with one save...struck out 24 in 32 innings of work.

2014 (FRESHMAN): Tied for second lead in appearances (15) with four others...was 1-3...struck out 13 in 28.1 innings.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2013 graduate of Great Oak High School...coach was Chris Dress...chosen first team All-League and second team All-CIF as a senior...led league  in hitting (.384) in 2013...appeared in five games as a pitcher.

PERSONAL: Born May 9, 1995...son of Jeff and Kelly Daily...a liberal studies major.
