Biography

2011 (JUNIOR): Despite missing a quarter of the season after suffering a concussion in August, Hopley was able to return and make an impact in her first year as a Roadrunner after transferring from Wilfrid Laurier University…Played in 67 sets in 19 matches and finished with the third-most kills on the team with 122 for an average of 1.82 per set…Posted the second-most blocks on the squad with 37 total including four solo and 33 assisted...Fourth on the team with 16 service aces…Also added 40 digs, nine assists…Recorded a season-best hitting percentage of .529 against Montana State (Nov. 11) and a season-high 12 kills against Maryland-Eastern Shore (Oct. 1)…Put up a season-high six digs against Southern Utah (Oct. 11), seven total blocks (one solo, six assisted) against Seattle (Nov. 5) and four service aces against Fresno State (Sept. 22)….Hit double digits in kills five times.

2009-2010 (FRESHMAN-SOPHOMORE): A member of the volleyball team at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario...transfered to CSUB after WLU dropped volleyball.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Thornlea Secondary School...coach was Bob Hutcheson...named team MVP and as an Ontario Scholar...played for the Aurora Storm Volleyball Club from 2008-09...holds school record in the high jump, 100m relay, and discus.

PERSONAL:  Born Mar. 2, 1991...anticipated major is physical education and kinesiology.
