2011 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 10 games, starting one...posted three hits in 10 at-bats...drove in one run...had one double.

HIGH SCHOOL:  A 2010 graduate of Stockdale High School…coach was Dan Lemon…named second team All-State (as an infielder), first team All-Area, and first team All-SWYL as a junior after hitting .495 with five home runs and 26 RBI’s…chosen second team All-SWYL and second team Bakersfield Californian All-Area as a senior...awarded Stockdale’s Jeannie Thompson Outstanding Male Athlete Award upon conclusion of senior season…team won 2008 and 2009 SWYL League Championships…team earned back-to-back Central Section Division III Championships in 2008 and 2009…a first team All-SWYL selection in football as a defensive back…graduated with a 4.1 GPA…a member of the National Honor Society, California Scholarship Federation, and school Honor Roll…played for the Bakersfield Braves Summer League team from 2008-10.

PERSONAL: Born Oct. 14, 1991...son of Mark and Kelly Desimone…a kinesiology major.
