Biography

2011 (SOPHOMORE): Due to a concussion suffered early in the season and lingering symptoms, Whittington took a medical redshirt for the 2011 season.


2010 (FRESHMAN): Played in all 31 matches (105 of 106 sets)…second on the team with 156 assists...registered 107 digs on the season…had a season high nine digs against Loyola Marymount (Nov. 4).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Frontier High School…led Frontier to the CIF Central Section Division II title in 2009…was the Titans’ team MVP and a first team All–Southwest Yosemite League pick as a senior…averaged double figure assists in 16 matches as a senior…set a career high with 52 assists  against Bakersfield High School in 2009.

PERSONAL: plans on majoring in kinesiology.
