2014 (R-JUNIOR): Played the final 8:10 of the 5-1 victory over San Jose State Oct. 4 in first appearance of season...took the loss as CSUB dropped a 3-1 decision to Houston Baptist Oct. 19...made three saves...came in during PK’s in the semfinals of the WAC Tournament and turned away two Seattle U shots as the ‘Runners advanced to the WAC finals.

2013 (R-SOPHOMORE): Named WAC Defensive Player of the Week ending Sept. 8 after posting back-to-back shutouts in victories over Sacramento State (Sept. 6) and UC Davis (Sept. 8)...made eight saves at Seattle U Oct. 11...recorded third shutout of season against UMKC Oct. 27...made a season high 10 saves at Air Force Nov. 3...posted a shutout victory with eight saves against UMKC in the first round of the WAC Tournament Nov. 14...went 7-7-2 with a 1.68 GAA...recorded 81 saves.

2012 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the  Bakersfield program.

2011 (FRESHMAN): Played in the final nine minutes against UC Riverside Aug. 27...combined with Eric Shannon to shutout Sacramento State on Oct. 7...played 9:32 against the Hornets and made two saves.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Bloomington High School...coach was Marc Howard...named team’s best defensive player during career...played for the Arsenal FC from 2009-11 when team won So Cal Division Championships on two occasions...Arsenal was a 2009 Dallas Cup semifinalist, 2009 Region IV Champions, finished third at the U.S. National Championships in Boston, Mass...spent time in 2010 with U.S. National Scout Hugo Perez was later selected to play in the 2010 Academy All-Star Game.

PERSONAL: Born May 14, 1993...son of Victor Perez and Judit Espinosa...a psychology major.
