CSUB
2009:
Mickey Jannis earned the start in CSUB’s first-ever game...struck out six and scattered nine hits for five earned runs in 6 2/3 innings (2/20/09)...recorded a five-strikeout, four-hit, one-run, six-inning start (no-decision) in CSUB’s 7-6 loss to Buffalo (3/9/09)...held defending national champion Fresno State hitless for 5 2/3 innings (3/13/09)...recorded eight strikeouts while scattering four hits for two earned runs in 6 2/3 innings (no-decision)...earned his first win of the season in a relief appearance at Nebraska (5/9/09)...pitched his first complete game in a 3-0 loss to Cal State Northridge (5/19/09)...recorded a season-best 10 strikeouts without issuing a walk in the contest...team-best 61 strikeouts to go along with a 5.76 ERA in 11 starts and 13 total appearances (75 innings).

ALLAN HANCOCK COLLEGE
Jannis was named to the All-Southern California team and the Western State Conference North first team in 2008...was also the WSCN Relief Pitcher of the Year...had a 3.20 ERA with 78 strikeouts in 68 innings of work (11.95 strikeouts per 9 innings)...also recorded seven saves...was named Allan Hancock’s 2008 Pitcher of the Year.

COSUMNES RIVER COLLEGE
Jannis played baseball for Cosumnes River College in 2007, collecting a 2.95 ERA and one win in 25 innings pitched.

ARROYO GRANDE HIGH SCHOOL
Jannis was a first team All-Pac 5 Conference third baseman and pitcher as a senior at Arroyo Grande High School...also named the Eagles MVP as a senior...earned second team All-Pac 5 honors as a sophomore and junior...threw a complete game shutout during the Eagles’ state championship run his junior year...Arroyo was named the Northern Nevada Zone Champions Jannis’ junior year (2005)...Jannis also competed in tennis, earning the team’s MVP award three times...placed third in the Northern Nevada Zone playoffs as a junior and senior.

SUMMER LEAGUE
Jannis pitched for the Reno Astros in 2009...went 1-0 with two saves and 15 strikeouts in 10.0 innings...played for the Santa Maria Valley Packers in 2008...led the team with a 0.90 ERA...went 1-0 with two saves.
