Biography

SOUTHWEST BAPTIST: Justin Finch was the primary kicker for the Southwest Baptist University (Mo.) football team in 2008...was 5-for-7 in field goal attempts and 48-for-52 in PATs...current school-record holder in PATs made in a single game (11) and single season (48).

GARCES HS: Finch was a three-sport athlete at Bakersfield’s Garces High School...was a first team All-Southeast Yosemite League and second team Bakersfield Californian All-Area selection in 2008...scored 15 goals along with four assists as a senior, one year after leading the Rams to the CIF Central Section title game...as the Garces football team kicker, he tied the school record for most field goals in a season (seven) and earned selection on the Edge Bowl East squad...also ran track for the Rams.

PERSONAL: Finch is majoring in sports management at CSUB...also pursuing a minor in accounting...career plans include becoming an athletic director...father, Jeff, played soccer at Bakersfield College in 1986...mother, Joan (Haller), was a member of the CSUB volleyball team from 1987-88...born Mar. 5, 1990, in Bakersfield, Calif.
