SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The `Runners battled Santa Clara to the very end at Leavey Center, falling 3-2 (18-25, 25-23, 18-25, 25-21, 14-16). Jordyn Waite-Ward led the Roadrunners with a career-high 17 kills on .577 hitting.
