The CSUB Athletics Hall of Fame commemorates former `Runner student-athletes, teams, coaches, administrators, and contributors for their achievements and contributions to CSUB athletics and the community. Eligible athletes must be at least ten years removed from their last competition at CSUB, while coaches and administrators must have retired or left the university at least five years ago.

The 2025 CSUB Athletics Hall of Fame class included Loni Burton, Rudy Carvajal, Stephen Neal, the 1992-93 Men’s Basketball Team, and Charles Craig. Those legendary names will now be known for being in the inaugural Hall of Fame class. Fans now have the opportunity to nominate a new set of `Runners for the CSUB Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
In the 50+-year history of CSUB Athletics, the `Runners have tallied 30 national championships, 215 individual National Champions, over 1,000 NCAA All-Americans, 18 Olympians, and 25 World Championships Qualifiers.
