  • Scott is in his ninth season with the `Runners, previously serving as an Assistant Coach prior to being elevated to the program’s leader. 
• Guard Dailin Smith continues to be Bakersfield’s leading scorer and one of the most dangerous men in The Big West.

• Defense continues to be a hallmark of the CSUB men’s basketball program as the `Runners rank 25th in the nation with 5.2 blocks per game this season. 
  • Power forward Ronald Jessamy leads the way with 39 blocks, which makes him 15th in the country.

• Grace Padron eyes yet another strong performance in the weight throw. Last week, she earned herself a personal best mark of 15.10 and has made the finals in two straight meets. 
• Newcomers Rionna Wallace, Teague Marzetta, and Chizi Okey-Dike will all compete in the 60m/200m double for the second straight meet. Wallace is #2 all-time in both events for CSUB. 
• Skye Odom continues her journey in both the triple and long jump. Odom is the indoor record holder in the triple jump. 
• Bakersfield natives Julie Johnson and Adeline Rangel have their eyes set on yet another 400m. Johnson is the record holder in both the 300m and 400m. 
• Emilia Mandela will compete in the 60m Hurdles along with teammate Ivy Miller.

• The 2025-26 season is beginning to wind down for the Cal State Bakersfield swim & dive programs as the Roadrunners set out for their final dual of the year.

  • Bakersfield’s men are 7-0 all-time against the Banana Slugs while the `Runner women are 5-0. 
• Six years ago when the two teams last met, CSUB’s men won 212.5-77,5 while the women’s squad defeated UCSC 209-77.

• The Cal State Bakersfield wrestling program will continue the 2025-26 season by hosting a pair of duals, one in Bakersfiled and the other in Gilroy. 
• Seventh-year Head Coach Luke Smith aims to continue momentum built by his program last season. 
  • Smith’s squad qualified three Roadrunners for the 2025 NCAA Championships while 197 pounder AJ Ferrari earned Bakersfield’s first All-American honors in a decade.
