BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Roadrunners earned their first win versus the Mustangs since 2017 in a run rule victory on Sunday afternoon. Bakersfield was powered by the bat of Mari Narvaiz who finished the day going 2-for-2 with a triple, home run, and a walk while driving in four.

CSUB avoided the sweep this weekend as Maya Ramirez held Cal Poly to two runs over five innings of work while fanning two Mustangs. Maalia Cherry and Shay Fuimaono both had two RBI of their own on a pair of singles. Narvaiz put Bakersfield up 4-0 early with a grand slam in the second inning.
