BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Javier Toro earned Cal State Bakersfield Athlete of the Week honors after a historic performance in track & field this weekend.
At the Titan Friday Night Lights meet, Javier Toro threw the 13^th best mark in the country for the hammer throw. Toro placed first overall in the event over the weekend. His new personal best mark of 64.88m/212'10" is a new #3 on the CSUB all-time list. The senior ranks fifth in the Big West and 20^th in the NCAA West Region.
