Roadrunners win third straight with 6-5 victory over Pacific

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Cal State Bakersfield baseball team earned its third-straight win and its fifth victory in the last six games with a 6-5 decision over Pacific Tuesday night. The Roadrunners used a 6-run third inning to pull ahead and the CSUB pitching staff recorded a season-high 11 strikeouts on the way to another win.

Catch Tyler Leroy led the offensive assault, going 2-for-4 from the plate with two RBI on the night. Designated Hitter Brock Perreira also went 2-for-4 while five different `Runners tallied at least one RBI in the game.

Logan Rightmyer picked up the win, relieving starter Hauze Fragoso, each of whom struck out four Tigers. Michael Riley came out to close out the game, posting his third save of the season.

The same two teams will be back in action at Hardt Field on Wednesday as CSUB hosts its first-ever Baseball Education Day. First pitch is scheduled for 11 a.m. (PT). Catch the `Runners live in action here at Hardt Field or on ESPN+.
