CSUB Athlete of the Week: Vili Sivec

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Vili Sivec has earned Cal State Bakersfield athlete of the week honors for the third time this season after an impressive showing at the Big West Swimming & Diving Championships in Houston.

The reigning conference swimmer of the year earned gold medals in the 100 fly and 200 fly, and took the bronze in the 50 free.

The Roadrunner junior broke his own school record in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 100 fly and 200 fly. He also eclipsed his own Big West record marks in the 200 free, 100 fly and 200 fly.
