Head Coach Rod Barnes and his squad will start the year on the road visiting the Bay Area to take on the California Bears for the second year in a row, on November 4th. The newly added team to the ACC is coming off 13-19 record which saw a 10-win improvement from the year prior.
The Roadrunners will then come home for a three-game home stand that will feature Bethesda on November 7th at 11:00 AM and North Dakota State on November 11th at 6:30 PM. To wrap up the homestand, Bakersfield will welcome Fresno State on Saturday, November 16th at 6:30 PM as the Roadrunners and Bulldogs will Rally for the Valley.
CSUB will then hit the road for a couple weeks, starting in Fort Myers, Florida for a Multi Team Event hosted by Florida Gulf Coast (FGCU). In this multi team tournament CSUB will face FGCU on November 22nd at 8:00 AM (PT), Florida International International (FIU) on November 23rd at 8:00 AM (PT), and Northeastern on November 24th at 9:00 AM (PT). They will then head to St. Georgia, Utah to take on Southern Utah on November 30th. CSUB hosted the Thunderbirds last year in a thrilling 73-72 victorious home opener for the Roadrunners.
To close out the 2024 portion of the year, the `Runners will play two home and two away games. First starting at home versus La Sierra on December 15th at 2:00 PM, and then heading to Portland, Oregon to play Portland on December 18th. On December 21st the Roadrunners will host Portland State, and then just a couple days later they will travel to Fargo to take on North Dakota State on December 23rd.
