Last Friday the Female Argentinian Selection announced that Cal State Bakersfield's Women's Soccer junior defender Anela Nigito was selected to represent Argentina at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Scheduled to take place from August 31 to September 22, 2024, in Colombia, this prestigious tournament will showcase the world’s emerging soccer talent. Nigito's selection marks the first time a CSUB athlete has earned a spot in this elite competition, highlighting her exceptional skills and the growing prominence of the Roadrunners' soccer program.
