After a scoreless first half, the Roadrunners found their rhythm, netting two crucial goals to secure the win. Despite a late goal from Weber State, the Roadrunners' defense held firm, ensuring a successful start to their road games for next week.

The `Runners will hit the road for the remainder of this week. CSUB is scheduled to take on Saint Mary's on Thursday, Aug .29. Bakersfield's Head Coach Bernardo Silva, will take his squad north with hopes to start the season with a two-match win streak.
