BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Cal State Bakersfield Athletics Department is reviving a community-favorite event as the Coaches Caravan is returning this month starting on Aug. 19 and running through Aug. 22. The four-day tour will see the 12 CSUB head coaches make appearances at six locations throughout the beautiful city of Bakersfield. Â
Over the last 15 months, the Roadrunners have hired seven amazing new coaches to the Bakersfield community. With one of CSUB Athletics' Four Pillars being Community Engagement, we want to show off the new coaches and get them plugged in with our local area. Â

Join us for an exciting week as we start the 2024-25 seasons for our Roadrunner teams! Each event will include a program hosted by Sarah Tuohy, CSUB Associate Athletics Director for Development. During each stop head coaches and administrators will share a preview of the upcoming 2024-25 athletic seasons. Â
Special giveaways will be available and `Runner merchandise will be on sale at specific locations! Entrance into the Coaches Caravan is free. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at each location, helping support our local restaurants.Â
