​​​​​​After a historic season, the Cal State Bakersfield Beach Volleyball team continues to be acknowledged for their performances. On Thursday, May 2, the Big West announced its Beach Volleyball Awards. Those nominated from Bakersfield consist of freshman Vivi Kaelin and Junior Ella Erteltova earning All-Big West Second Team. In addition, freshman duo Ella Ensign & Kaia Fanshier earned Big-West Honorable Mention. The CSUB Beach Volleyball team has now had two pairs earn All-Conference honors in four consecutive seasons.
 

• The `Runner pairing of Ella Erteltova and Vivi Kaelin posted 28 victories this year, smashing CSUB's single-season wins record which was previously 18 set just last year. The pair earned Big West Pair of the Week honors twice this season. It marked the first time in program history of earning multiple nods in the same year.
• The two other `Runners, Kaia Fanshier (27) and Ella Ensign (26) also reset the record. Fanshier and Ensign went 25-6 (.806) on the year, resetting CSUB's single-season win percentage record for a pair. Erteltova and Kaelin finished the year with a 28-8 record, just behind their teammates with a .778 clip.
