BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – An outstanding weekend of action saw the Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners show out at the 2024 MPSF Swimming Championships this week. While several `Runners brought their best to the biggest meet of the season, CSUB looked to sophomores Vili Sivec and Kylie Ney to lead the way.
“What a way to end our tenure in the MPSF!” said Chris Hansen, Bakersfield's Director of Swimming. “Three conference records, two conference wins, two conference runner-ups and a bunch of medals. The MPSF has been a great home for us over the years, but we are super excited to join the other CSUB teams in The Big West."
“Kylie and Vili came with big time individual goals and they accomplished them with ease,” Hansen continued. “It's bittersweet to see our seniors swim their last meet. This group deserves nothing but the best and they have been a huge reason for our success."
