CSUB 1, South Dakota State 9 – Saturday, Feb. 10
- South Dakota State, the 2023 Summit League Champions, scored three runs each in the 3rd and 4th innings to gain a big lead.
- Abilene Christian transfer, Logan-Ray Gaspar, made an immediate impact for the `Runners, going 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI.
- Maya Williams scored on a Gaspar single.
- Kaia Johnson went 1-1 with a walk in her two plate appearances.
CSUB 4, Fresno State 12 – Saturday, Feb. 10
- Bakersfield got on the board first as Maya Williams scored on a wild pitch by Fresno State.
- Johnson went 1-for-2 in Game 2, with an RBI and a walk.
- The Junior doubled to right center driving in Karissa Munsey from first base to tie the game at 2-2.
- Bakersfield was down two in the 4th inning, but Fresno put the game away in the 6th inning, scoring four runs to go up by eight.
- Errors got the best of the `Runners, committing six on the night.
CSUB 3, Santa Clara 7 – Sunday, Feb. 11
- Santa Clara jumped out early to a 5-0 lead.
- The `Runners answered back in the 3rd inning with Karissa Munsey's sacrifice fly to left field scoring Aariana Harrison.
- CSUB held Santa Clara to just two runs after the 2nd inning, but they were unable generate any scoring after the 5th inning.
- The speed of Gaspar and Aariana Harrison caused problems for the Broncos as CSUB scored two runs in the fifth.
- Eight different `Runners tallied a hit in the final game of the weekend.
