Banfield Announces Launch of Revamped Dugout Club

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Just three months away from the start of the 2025 baseball season, Cal State Bakersfield's first-year head coach Jordon Banfield is hard at work preparing his program for success. The baseball community has the opportunity to aid Banfield and the CSUB Baseball team by donating to the recently-revamped `Runners Dugout Club.

"The Dugout Club plays a crucial role in providing financial support that gives our student-athletes a competitive advantage and an exceptional NCAA Division I baseball experience," Banfield said. "Your contributions have a direct and profound impact on the development of our young men. With your help, we can continue building a top-tier program that equips our players for success both on and off the field. While the Dugout Club previously existed, Banfield has reimagined it in a way that will invite anyone to back the `Runners while also offering exclusive, experiential opportunities to the highest-level supporters. Membership into the Dugout Club starts at just a one-time $25 donation and donors can get exclusive Bakersfield Baseball gear at the $100 level. Top-tier patrons will receive unique benefits like throwing out the first pitch at a CSUB home game or joining the `Runners on a bus road trip.

All donations to the Dugout Club directly support the CSUB Baseball program, providing funds to improve team travel, recruiting efforts, facilities, equipment, and scholarships. Banfield also aims to raise funds to replace the Hardt Field grass with turf, allowing for consistent play throughout the year as well as increased camp opportunities for young local baseball players.
