BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Cal State Bakersfield women’s soccer team took down reigning Big West champions UC Irvine with a thrilling 1-0 victory on Thursday night. Kimberly Garcia scored her second season goal assisted by Solei Moton and Catalina Roggerone in the second half to help the Roadrunners secure the win. Defenders Mya Clarke, Anela Nigito, and Megan Ormson played exceptional defense in the full 90 minutes of the game.

This win makes it the first victory over the UC Irvine Anteaters in program history. The victory extends CSUB's unbeaten streak to four games, the longest in program history.
