The Cal State Bakersfield women’s basketball team is back in the Icardo Center for back to back games. The Roadrunners start the weekend off on Thursday against CSUN and wrapping up the action on Saturday againt Cal State Fullerton.
CSUB vs. CSUN (2-15, 0-7 BW) – Ag Night
- Thursday, Jan. 25, 7 p.m. (PT), Bakersfield, Calif.
- CSUN is looking for its first win in Big West play, an opportunity the `Runners will be trying to put to a stop.
- Junior Kayanna Spriggs leads the Matadors, posting another double-double in their last game against UC Riverside.
- Last year, CSUN swept CSUB during the regular season, but the `Runners got the last laugh at the Big West Championships, eliminating the Matadors in the first round.
CSUB vs. Cal State Fullerton (7-10, 3-4 BW)
- Saturday, Jan. 27, 2 p.m. (PT), Bakersfield, Calif.
- Wrapping up the weekend, Bakersfield will play Cal State Fullerton, which is currently 7-10 overall and 3-4 in the Big West.
- The Titans are coming off a season-high score in an 80-67 win over UC Santa Barbara, after falling short earlier that week to UC Davis in a close game.
- Last year, the `Runners went 1-1 for the season against Cal State Fullerton with both teams winning on their home court
