Ohio State Series Opener Postponed, Doubleheader on Saturday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – As Kern County and California continue to experience uncommon amounts of rainfall, the Cal State Bakersfield baseball team was forced to adjust the schedule of its home series against The Ohio State University. The Roadrunners and Buckeyes were unable to kick off the series on Friday and will now plan for a doubleheader on Saturday, Mar. 11, at Hardt Field.

CSUB and Ohio State will now open their weekend series on Saturday with a twin bill. Game 1 of the doubleheader is scheduled for a 3:05 p.m. (PT) first pitch while Game 2 will begin 35 minutes after the conclusion of the first contest.

Fans who already purchased tickets for Friday's game can use those tickets for entry to either Saturday's doubleheader or Sunday's single game. All three games of the CSUB-Ohio State series are still scheduled for ESPN+ broadcasts. Fans who cannot attend the games in person can follow along as Vance Palm calls the action live this weekend.
