Women's Swim & Dive to Host Fresno State on Senior Day

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Dual season is coming to a close this weekend when the Cal State Bakersfield women's swimming and diving team hosts its Senior Day meet. The CSUB women will welcome Fresno State to the Hillman Aquatic Center on Friday for Bakersfield's last dual of the season.

Notables

After a pair of losses against two of the MPSF's top teams, the `Runners got back on track with dual victories at Cal Poly last weekend.
Popham and Vili Sivec led the way, recording three victories each for Bakersfield.
Popham has 46 career individual victories, which is tied for third most in CSUB history with Michaela Paige (2012-16). Popham tallied 16 wins as a freshman in 2019-20 before the team sat out the 2020-21 season due to COVID-19. Last year Popham posted 15 victories and she has earned another 15 first-place finishes so far this year.
