Bakersfield – The California State University, Bakersfield women's soccer team returns home to The Main Soccer Field for its first home contests of the 2022 regular season, welcoming Northern Arizona and Boise State on Friday night (7 p.m.) and Sunday afternoon (11:30 a.m.), respectively. The Roadrunners are looking to snap a four-match losing streak, dating back to a season-opening win over UNLV at the New Mexico Lobo Invitational.
Five different 'Runners have scored goals this season, led by junior midfielder Regielly Halldorsdottir who netted a pair in the win over the Running Rebels. Karen Flores, Nicola Lebakos and Catalina Roggerone have also potted goals for CSUB this season.
Junior transfer Hollee Hercik has started four of five games in the Bakersfield goal, giving way to 2021 stalwart Flavia Burrell on two occasions. Burrell's second appearance of the season came in the second half at Montana, where she made a pair of stops.
