Helena Valentic, an international runner from Croatia, will transfer from the University of Applied Health Sciences in Zagreb once graduating with a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy.

In the last three consecutive years, Valentic has earned national championship titles in the 3000m steeplechase. In 2019, Valentic was a national U20 champion then became a back-to-back national U23 champion in 2020 and 2021.

She went to high school at Gymnasium Karlovac in her Croatian hometown graduating in 2019.

"Being a graduate student, she will bring some maturity to the program where everybody else is so young right now.  I look forward to welcoming her to the program and getting to work with her in person," said Marcia Mansur-Wentworth.
