Saint Mary's Contest Postponed Again Due To Freezing Temps

BAKERSFIELD - Tonight's baseball game between CSU Bakersfield and Saint Mary's has been postponed due to cold weather and an overnight freeze warning for the city of Bakersfield. The game, initially scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 22, is expected to be made up at a later date this season. The Roadrunners now set their sights on a three-game weekend set with visiting Kansas State University, Friday through Sunday.

The `Runners and Wildcats open their weekend series on Friday, Feb. 25 at 6:05 p.m. Saturday's game is also scheduled for 6:05 p.m., while Sunday's contest will be played at 1:05 p.m.

All three games will be carried live on ESPN Plus. Sunday's contest is the first of the season carried live on local radio by ESPN Bakersfield 101.1 FM and 1230 AM.

Bakersfield is 1-2 following a season opening series loss to Oakland University. A full release on the Kansas State series will be distributed on GoRunners.com later this week.
