CSUB Softball Set to Make ESPN+ Debut

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – For the first time in program history, the CSU Bakersfield softball team's home games will be broadcasted on ESPN+. As the softball team joins the CSUB Athletics Department on the platform, the Roadrunners continue to be leaders in the Big West Conference's quest to broadcast more than 600 live events on the ESPN family of networks each year.

Bakersfield Softball will host 19 home games at the Roadrunner Softball Complex this year and all but one of those will be broadcasted. Due to conflicts with other CSUB home events, the one `Runner softball game that will not be broadcasted is the team's Feb. 19 home opener against Pacific. That means CSUB's softball debut on ESPN+ is set for Saturday, Feb. 20, as the `Runners tackle the Tigers in a doubleheader.

A subscription to ESPN+ is available for purchase via ESPN.com, ESPNPlus.com or the ESPN App. The ESPN App is a one-stop digital sports platform that provides easy, dynamic access to everything ESPN offers. Fans can access ESPN+ content only after they have subscribed.

Fans can take advantage of certain deals and bundles to maximize their content received. For example, ESPN+ has been available through the "Disney Bundle", which combines ESPN+, hulu, and Disney+ for one low cost. Also, certain cell phone service providers have at times included deals for free access to ESPN+, so check with your provider for details on those offers.

Join the CSUB softball team for the 2022 season live on ESPN+ or in person with season tickets and single-game available at GoRunners.com/Tickets.
