`Runners Look to Emulate Past Success Against Idaho

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Roadrunners travel to Idaho on Nov. 16 for their second straight game on the road. After a loss to the Pac-12's Utah, the `Runners will hope to turn their prior success against Idaho into a win on Wednesday. This will be CSU Bakersfield's final test before traveling to El Paso, Texas for the Jim Forbes Classic tournament.

`Runner Notes

After coming off an assured win against San Diego Christian, Bakersfield was bested by a much tougher Pac-12 opponent in Utah, 72-44.
Despite the loss, Cal State Bakersfield enjoyed standout performances from a pair of juniors in Antavion Collum, who posted 14 points, while Kaleb Higgins tallied 13 points of his own.
Modestos Kancleris, a 6-foot-9 Redshirt Sophomore from Lithuania, was a force under the basket, tacking on an impressive 11 rebounds.

Scouting the Vandals

Idaho (1-2) is led by fourth-year head coach Zac Claus.
Following a season-opening loss to Denver, the Vandals have beaten Walla Walla and most recently fell to Omaha 72-79.
Against Omaha, Divant'e Moffitt led Idaho with 29 points including going 11-for-12 on free throws.
The `Runners are looking to continue their winning ways against an Idaho opponent whom CSUB has beaten in five of their last six meetings.
