CSUB Takes on Utah in Pac-12 Road Test

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The CSU Bakersfield men's basketball team continues its season on the road against Utah on Friday, Nov. 11. This is the Roadrunners' first road matchup of the year, against a tough Pac-12 opponent, as their first true NCAA test early in this new season. After a well-fought win against San Diego Christian early in the week, the Roadrunners will be going on the road to Utah looking to build on their strong start.

On heading out for the team's first road game: "I think they'll respond well. Obviously it's a big challenge ahead of us playing Utah at their place, but I think our guys have a bond and a chemistry that they'll go into the game believing we'll play our best basketball of the year, because that's what's going to be needed at this early point of the season."
"First of all, they're very good offensively. They do a good job. Normally they have shooters, which they do this year. [Craig Smith] is a guy that coaches well, they're not going to beat themselves. We're going to have to do a good job trying to control the tempo."
