Salvador Continues to Shoot Low in Las Cruces

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Day 2 of the Golf Iconic Classic wrapped up with the CSU Bakersfield women's team enjoying another outstanding round of play from junior Arlene Salvador. The native of Palmdale, Calif. tackled the course with an even-par card on Tuesday.

Notables

Salvador, who tied the Roadrunners' single-round scoring record with a 70 (-2) on Monday, is tied for sixth overall in the 82-woman field after two rounds.
As a team, CSUB tallied 313 strokes (+25) on Tuesday, 15 more than the team's Round 1 performance.

Freshman Sarah Mutai is Bakersfield's second-lowest scorer through two rounds (75-77-152)
