Biography
2022-23 (JUNIOR): Tied teammate Sarah Mutai for the second-best single-season scoring average (76.15) in CSUB history…Posted a season-low score of 70 (-2) at the Golf Iconic Classic, tying the program’s best single-round score all-time…Also shot a pair of 71s (-1) at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational, posting four of CSUB’s Top 10 single-round scores all-time…Owns the three lowest 54-hole tournament scores in CSUB history, including a 217 (+1) at the Golf Iconic Classic…Tallied 22 rounds in the 70s on the year, third-most all-time…Helped CSUB tie the school’s 18-hole team score record (294) at the Thunderbird Invitational as well as seven of ten Top 10 results…Contributed to program’s second-best 54-hole tournament score (896) at the Thunderbird Invitational…Earned WGCA All-American Scholar honors.
PRIOR TO CSUB (2020-22): Competed at Antelope Valley College under Coach Patrick Londono…Won the 2021 Western State Conference individual title…AVC school record holder with a round of 67 and the State record hold with a 139 tournament score…Averaged a score of 72 throughout AVC career…Helped Marauders to undefeated Championship with 35-0 record while qualifying for the State finals…Made the Dean’s or President’s list for academic performance all four semesters and earned the All-Area Award for Kinesiology.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2020 graduate of Highland High School in Palmdale, Calif.…Won the Golden League individual title all four seasons while also qualifying for CIF each season…Was a CIF semi-finalist all four years…In 2017, named Athlete of the Month by Varsity Letter…Won the America Junior Golf Association's 2019 Explore Lompoc Preview at La Purisima by shooting a one-under-par 71.
PERSONAL: A human biology and nursing major who plans to pursue careers in both golf and nursing after her time at CSUB.
