`Runners Ready for Final Fall Tournament

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A three-week pause from competition has prepared the Cal State Bakersfield women's golf team for its final tournament of the fall season. The Roadrunners will tackle the Rainbow Wahine Invitational, Oct. 24-26, in Kapolei, Hawai'i before heading into a three-month period of training for the spring portion of their 2022-23 schedule.

Quotes from Head Coach Tiffanie Yabut
  • "We feel that our last two weeks of preparation, along with what we learned from our first three tournaments, has prepared us to finish the fall season strong."
  • "We've practiced the yardages and stressed scrambling out of the grass we will be competing on, so we know that if we can each execute our individual game plans mentally and physically, we can play to our potential as a team."
