CSUB Wraps Up Fullerton Spring Invite

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – CSU Bakersfield men and women's outdoor track and field wrapped up the Fullerton Spring Invite on Friday. The Roadrunners added five Top 6 finishes and two personal bests in Fullerton.

Brandon Andrade and Evan Vigass were second and third fastest competitors in the 400-meter hurdles this weekend. Vigass ran a time of 56.96 for the first time at CSUB.

Ryan Bentley and Jesus Alverez placed fourth and fifth, respectively in high jump. Bentley and Alverez both cleared 6'3".

Bradley Bryant finished fifth in long jump with a mark of 44'5.25" in the event.

Derek Crawford bested his own 400-meter time on Friday in a deep field of Big West Conference sprinters. Crawford crossed the finish line eighth with a time of 49.51.

Bianca Frausto placed seventh yesterday in the 5000-meter race with her second-best time.

CSUB outdoor track and field has four more meets left on the schedule before their first Big West Championships. Next weekend the Roadrunners will be at the Bryan Clay Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
