Women's Basketball Back Home For UC Irvine Series

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – CSU Bakersfield women's basketball returns to the Icardo Center for a home series on Friday and Saturday with the UC Irvine Anteaters. The Roadrunners are coming off their second series sweep ahead of a pair of important contests this weekend.

Both games are scheduled to start at 4 PM and broadcast live ESPN.com/watch or the ESPN app.

UC Irvine is unbeaten in their first three league series but have played three fewer games than conference leader Long Beach State who has eight conference wins. CSUB is tied with UC Davis at third most league wins with four.

Series vs. UC Irvine

This upcoming Friday (2/5) and Saturday (2/6) will be the sixteenth and seventeenth time the Roadrunners and Anteaters meet. CSU Bakersfield leads the all-time series, 11-4. In the Icardo Center, the `Runners hold a 5-2 advantage over the 'Eaters.

In their last meeting over two years ago, Bakersfield suffered a seven-point, 85-78, road loss at Cal State Fullerton on 11/29/18.
