CSUB Opens Big West Slate at Home With LBSU

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A pause in competition for CSU Bakersfield women's basketball comes to an end as the Roadrunners are geared and ready for their first conference games as members of the Big West Conference. CSUB welcomes Long Beach State for a two-game series this weekend, Jan. 1 and 2.

Long Beach State (3-1) has played four games this season, including two league wins just won this week. The lone non-conference win for the 49ers this season came against Westmont College in their home opener nearly three weeks ago (12/12). LBSU swept UC Riverside in their league opener by a score of 74-44 and 71-66.

CSUB and LBSU are scheduled to tip off both games this weekend at 4 p.m. from the Icardo Center in Bakersfield, Calif.
