CSUB Heads for Utah Valley, Seattle U



BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – After allowing a winless program to snap ab undefeated home (9-0) and league (3-0) streak, the CSU Bakersfield women's basketball team looks to make a statement on the road. Bakersfield sits in second place in conference standings with leader Utah Valley (1/23) and Seattle U (1/25) on their docket this weekend.
 
CSUB (11-6, 3-1 WAC) and Utah Valley (8-9, 5-0 WAC) will meet for the twenty-third time in the all-time series.
 
Bakersfield and SU (7-11, 1-4 WAC) will meet for the twenty-fourth time in the all-time series.
 
The Wolverines ride a seven-game win streak into the matchup tomorrow. The two teams had common non-conference opponents as both programs dabbled among the Big West Conference. 
 
UVU suffered an eight-point loss to UC Santa Barbara and a fourteen-point deficit at UC Riverside while the Roadrunners secured a four-point win over the Gauchos but fell to the Highlanders 52-53.
 
The Redhawks and the `Runners shared a common opponent during their non-conference slates. Both programs tallied losses at Washington early in the season.
